this unique tea is harvested from ancient trees that range in age from 500 to 2,700 years on the protected land of Jingmai Mangjing’s Blue Mountains. Each family in the Jingmai Mangjing area relies on the sale of tea leaves for the majority of their annual income and like you, the local people have no use for synthetic pesticides, fertilizers or large scale clear cutting. (With half the caffeine content of coffee-but all of the energy-it’s perfect for making the transition over from the dark side.)
